Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. acquires, finances and manages residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and mortgage loans. Our assets consist of residential mortgage-backed securities (“RMBS”) for which a U.S. Government agency or a federally chartered corporation guarantee payments of principal and interest. These securities are commonly referred to as Agency RMBS. In addition, our assets consist of RMBS that are not issued or guaranteed by a U.S. Government agency (“Non-agency RMBS”), commercial mortgage-backed securities (“CMBS”) and residential and commercial mortgage loans.
